In real production, there is often more than one tightening torque demands on one station. However, user will not equip one tightening tool for each torque. On this background, socket selector was born.

There is socket hole on base housing. There is corresponding indicator on the top, sensor which verifies the presence of socket is inside the housing. And there is socket size adjustment hole below socket hole. Sensor, indicator, socket hole and size adjustment hole are corresponding relations.

Once established communication between socket selector and PLC, user could setup socket usage sequence according to production process. The different indicator color and flash can show and lead operator the correct sequence. Meanwhile, user can add tightening tool control into logic loop. If operator picked wrong socket, the system will not allow to enable tightening tool. In this way, user can save time on choosing selectors and enhance work efficiency.
